About Triptych TheatreTriptych Theatre is made up of the many artists from all disciplines that contribute to its projects. A few of them are: Michael Hoch: Based in New York, Michael has worked in the theater world for 20 years as a producer, dramaturg, actor, and director. In Boston, he co-founded the Mill 6 Collaborative, which over the last eight years has continuously mounted challenging comic productions of new and existing work. Michael has an MBA from Northeastern University and BA in Literature from Boston University. Jamie Wollrab: Jamie is a director, producer, actor, currently working as an assistant for Quattro Media in Los Angeles. He recently worked on the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (dir. Shane Black for Silver Pictures at Warner Brothers) and King's Echo (AFI). Theatrically he directed the reading of The Good Samaritan for Triptych in February. He produced and starred in Nocturne at Denver's Dairy Center for Performing Arts (receiving 3 best of 2004 nominations by The Denver Post including best actor). Off Broadway he produced Leonce & Lena, off off broadway he directed Italian American Reconciliation and Women of Manhattan. Other directorial credits include: Burn This (selected by Fort Worth Star Telegram in Best of 2000), Three Days of Rain, Look Back in Anger, Geography of a Horse Dreamer and The Blank Page. Jamie has worked at such theatres as The Majestic Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, Pearl Theatre, Connelley Theatre, Pantheon, Theatre 3, Dallas Shakespeare Festival, The Height Players and Stage West. He is a member of the Players Club and holds an MFA from the Mason Gross School for the Arts, and a BFA from TCU. Grant Denney: Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, and currently in New York, Grant's recent acting credits include: Lord Longaville in Love’s Labor’s Lost, Julian in The Blank Page (directed by Jaime Wollrab), and Kenny in Fuddy Meers. Grant also directed Steve Martin’s W.A.S.P.Grant studies acting and directing at HB Studio in New York. Kicker marks his first role as a producer and assistant director. Grant received his BFA from Texas Christian University in Theater and English Literature. Jason Lambert: Based in New York City, Jason recently returned to the east coast after a one and a half year long association with Theatre de la Jeune Lune. As the theatre’s 2002-2003 artist apprentice Jason toured with the company’s Hamlet, appeared in its production of The Seagull, and played the rest of their season, helping to create their piece, A Circus of Tales. He is co-founder of Boston’s Mill 6 Collaborative and was a member of Seattle’s Annex Theatre, where he helped develop and produce many new works. He appeared recently in Lee Kalcheim’s new play Slouching Toward Hollywood and An Infinite Ache, both under the direction of Joe Brancato at the Penguin Repertory Company. A graduate of The Mason Gross School of the Arts’ MFA program, Jason also has a BA in History from Yale University. |
